Big Ass Wheels

The wheels are turning, proverbially and literally.  The "Unbreakable" Savage Build continues.  The wheels are installed and can be seen in the picture below. There'll be a few changes from the plans on the project page, the most obvious being that I won't be able to install the HPI 17mm Hex Hub conversion set as planned as I'd have to install smaller (and therefore more easily broken) dogbones to accommodate them.  We're  looking for a 17mm hex adapter similar to what Traxxas offers for their Revo and Maxx trucks.  Unfortunately the Traxxas one won't work on the Savage because of it's different hub design.

More coming soon...

Winter Blues

Winter tends to be the bane of this hobby for most of us who live in more temperate climates. Fortunately the snow has now melted and the projects can continue. I'll be determining the best pinion/spur to use for the M18 Speed Project so we can get some speed runs and should be completing the Unbreakable Savage Project soon and putting it to the test.

If you are interested in RCs That can be run in the Winter, check out our Dual 775 E-Maxx. Near brushless power and a weatherproof design.

Stay tuned.
