I purchased a Evader BX in 2007. I played withj it for a minute then it sat on the shelf. I finally picked it up again and felt reborn. I am used to the RC10 and bolink elimator so it has been several years. This time, I have more of a budget to get envolved. I felt empowered and purchased the Mamba Max 5700kv. On the 6 cell 1500mah it was better. However, when I put a 7 cell 3000mah in it, I noticed the difference. The first day I broke the front tire off. LOL! The second day I wore the tire out. I am waiting on my 9.6v and Lipo battery ordered on eBay. I am also about to try the 12 cell nimh and see how it goes. I will post something when I get them.

For any questions or suggestion: wallace03@bellsouth.net

The Mamba Max 5700kv actually has been working incredibly well. Just insane amounts of speed. Just make sure you have good wheels. I shredded the stock wheels in the first week of having the brushless system.

I haven't yet shredded any gears though surprisingly.

Hey,

Looks like a nice rc car......I have been into rc cars for over 25 years and I am amazed how far motor and speed control technology has come.....

I remember the only RS540 motors and the good old tamiya technigold motor and 8.4v battery pack...which was considered awesome at the time!!!!

Now we have brushless motors running on 11.1v to 14.4v lipo batteries....awesome!

Cheers
